Business Crime Reduction Partnership

Our Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) is an initiative that unites Hammersmith BID with our neighbours at Fulham Broadway BID, Safer Business Network and long-established partners such as the Metropolitan Police. By pooling resources and expertise, we are able to strategically address issues, combat criminal activities, and tackle antisocial behaviour. Together, we create a safer environment for our thriving business community and visitors.

Our BCRP initiatives include:

  • Pubwatch, Shopwatch, and Building Safety Group — Steering groups focused on crime reduction and promoting safety in the town centre during the day and night time economy.
  • Safer Business Network – Focus on promoting safety and security by engaging with our businesses and tying into larger, area-wide networks.
  • SafetyNet Radio & CCTV – A radio system that provides our business community and visitors to the area with enhanced safety and security.
  • WalkSafe App – A free personal safety app with an enhanced feature highlighting local safe spaces and route-sharing.
  • Alert! — Our secure and GDPR-compliant intelligence platform enables businesses to share and report intelligence about offenders. It’s easy to use and highly effective.
