A day of active travel-themed fun is taking place in Hammersmith on Sunday 24 September from 11am to 4pm.

Join for free guided walks and bike trails, face painting, entertainment – and if you reach 10,000 steps on the day, come to the Hammersmith BID stall to receive a prize!

Need some help reaching the target? Here are a few ways to get your step count up on the day:

• Explore H&F’s new Riverfront Art Trail with a Hammersmith BID guide. Find out more about the artists here and meet in Lyric Square at 12noon to join the FREE walk
• Join in with fun entertainment on Lyric Square. Our Hammersmith BID stewards will be running sessions to get your hearts pumping and you step count on the up!
• Take a walk to the Hammersmith Cycle Hub under the Flyover, where you can leave bikes safely and securely while you browse the shops or dine out

Once you’ve reached 10,000 steps, head to the Hammersmith BID table to collect a goody bag of prizes. Just show your step count on your phone or other device to claim. Available while stocks last and T&Cs apply.

To get you embracing active travel, there’ll also be a range of fun two-wheeled activity on the day, from a bike tour of Hammersmith, free bike maintenance and information about the Council’s supporting schemes. Plus try out a smoothie bike and little ones can enjoy free face painting. Find out more here.
