19 Feb Hammersmith community supports Small tap, big change
The Hammersmith community has been getting behind the BID’s charity initiative Small tap, big change throughout February.
Baron’s Court Project and Hammersmith BID teams have been out and about in the town centre, discussing the initiative with businesses and residents, and have been supported by partners.
Despite some awful weather, Hammersmith’s Barclays team braved the elements and headed to Kings Mall to fundraise for Small tap, big change.
It was also Student Volunteering Week last week (10-16 February) and students from Imperial College London’s Hindu Society headed to Hammersmith to promote Small tap, big change and collect donations from across the town centre.
The work of the Hindu Society and Barclays raised over £200, with the Barons Court Project, Glass Door, St Andrew’s Church and The Upper Room benefiting. The money raised will fund additional beds, hot meals, washing facilities and outreach services.
