27 Mar LEON community shop now open in Hammersmith
No longer just a restaurant.
LEON has transformed some of their restaurants into community shops, stocked with the basic essentials they think you and your local communities might need including; new chef-created ready meals, dairy produce, freshly baked bread, rice, oats, tea bags, toilet paper (not a joke), bin bags and clingfilm. LEON Hammersmith is one of these.
You’ll also be able to grab items from their Sainsbury’s Grocery Range, including vegan sauce and mayonnaises as well as their good-for-your-gut preserves.
And although you can’t eat-in, there will be a slightly reduced LEON menu available for takeaway and delivery.
LEON has also created the #FeedTheNHS scheme, which has garnered huge support with other food outlets and celebrities spreading the word. They are almost at their target goal of £1million raised to provide hot food to NHS staff at this difficult moment. To donate, or find out more about the scheme, visit the webpage.
E-Cargobikes.com, the operators of the BID’s Parcels not Pollution service, also supports the initiative, distributing over 3000 LEON food pouches to NHS staff in our local hospitals.
And as a reminder, there is an NHS discount of 50% for menu items and 20% for the new shop range.
