23 Jun Wimbledon to be broadcast live in Hammersmith from Monday 28 June
The Wimbledon Championships will be broadcast live from the Big Screen, located at 245 Hammersmith Road (map), from Monday 28 June.
Part of the BID’s Summer Festival 2021, which is brought to Hammersmith this year in partnership with 245 Hammersmith; the Big Screen is free to view and will be live every day from 12 noon. Deckchairs will be provided, along with picnic tables, and refreshments can be purchased from the onsite cafe on the piazza.
The Big Screen will be operated as a COVID-secure environment, with social distancing in operation and marshals in attendance. We look forward to welcoming all spectators, from families to office workers and from lunchtimes to the late afternoon games. Access to the Screen is free.
The seedings for the men’s and ladies’ singles main draws were released today (23 June), with world No.1 players Novak Djokovic and Ashleigh Barty leading the lists.
Djokovic will start The Championships as defending champion after beating Roger Federer in the 2019 final. The Serb will be aiming for a sixth trophy at the All England Club and if he achieves that will draw level with Federer and Rafael Nadal with 20 Grand Slam singles titles.
