04 Aug Foot Locker’s new team trained on SafetyNet
This summer, the BID is enhancing safety and security across the town centre by delivering SafetyNet radio training to all participating businesses and connecting them directly to the BID funded CCTV operator and our local police team should they require non-emergency assistance.
The Hammersmith branch of Foot Locker is the latest retail store to receive our bespoke training package. The new management team is now set to benefit from quick-time alerts from neighbouring businesses and CCTV, as well as receiving valuable assistance when dealing with theft and antisocial behaviour.
In addition to reducing crime, the radios are an important resource in safeguarding the personal safety of customer-facing staff, and serve as a valuable asset in reducing the risks associated with lone working.
BID Businesses can contact Gordon Brockie if they require any free training, or would like to find out more about the SafetyNet scheme.
Please see the BID’s SafetyNet Radio User Guide for more details.
