Earlier this month, the BID attended the Capital West London Growth Summit.
The Capital West London Growth Summit is run on behalf of the West London boroughs. The hybrid event took place at the University of West London on 2nd March 2022, and looked at the growth and opportunities for the region as we move out of the pandemic.
BID Director Patricia Bench spoke on a panel discussing how ‘Culture & Creativity will be Economic Drivers‘. The panel discussed how West London has always been attractive for the creative sector with local support, diverse communities and a strong cultural identity, which has allowed the sector to thrive. They looked at the latest developments across West London and what projects are taking place to keep the cultural offer alive, including the BID’s Summer Festival programme, networking activities and the Zero-Emissions market pop-ups. The panel ended on what more can be done to continue to attract and retain creative businesses and the talent they need.
