Expanding the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) London-wide.

TfL want to achieve a clean, green, and healthy future for London and have launched the consultation which wants your view on the proposals seeking to help improve air quality, tackle the climate emergency, and reduce traffic congestion. The Mayor of London has asked TfL to consult on these proposals and begin the development of a longer-term smart road user charging system.

BENEFITS:

It is estimated that introducing a larger London-wide ULEZ would have transformative effects by the end of 2023, with the number of cars not meeting the tough ULEZ emission standards each day falling from 160,000 to 46,000 and number of vans not meeting the standards falling from 42,000 to 26,000.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:

For an overview of the proposals there is a short consultation brochure and video. More detailed information, including impact assessments, is also available on TfL’s consultation page.

TfL have also provided access to a toolkit outlining the proposals and how people can have their say:

A translation of the toolkit is available in 18 different languages. Please email a.altenausmith@hammersmithbid.co.uk if you require an alternative copy.

HAVE YOUR SAY:

We hope that you will give your views via TfL’s consultation survey on their Have Your Say website.

Please share the consultation with any one you think might be interested in responding or meeting to discuss.
