26 Jul Hammersmith Zero-Emissions Arts Markets
Hammersmith BID partnered with Hammersmith and Fulham Council to pilot a series of Zero-Emissions Art Markets from November 2021 – July 2022. The series of Zero-Emissions Arts Markets in Hammersmith were the first of their kind in London. The market operated sustainably, with stallholder products and market equipment delivered using E-Cargo Bikes or electric vans.
The primary goal of the markets was to lobby for local, small, and medium-sized enterprises. At each market, 14 to 16 traders had the unique opportunity to sell and promote their artwork throughout the neighbourhood. The local nature of the event created a welcoming and community feel at various locations across Hammersmith’s town centre.
