14 Apr Free fun for families with Hammersmith BID at the King Street Coronation Party
Hammersmith & Fulham Council is throwing a big King Street Coronation Party in Hammersmith on Saturday 6 May 11am to 6pm. Hammersmith BID will be there with a fun trail for families, face painting and treats for Privilege Card holders. Find out more
Working with charity Starlight and with fantastic prizes to win, all participants in the Coronation Trail will receive a Union Jack flag*. Face painting will be on offer, with donations going to Starlight. Holders of the BID’s free Privilege Card will also be able to enjoy a refreshing soft drink at lunchtime.
Take part in the Coronation Trail
Saturday 6 May, 11am to 5pm
Families can pick up a trail guide at the Hammersmith BID stall outside H&M. From there, they’ll need to track down all ten letters located in shops around Hammersmith to make up the royal phrase! When completed, the flyer can be handed back to the Hammersmith BID stall in exchange for a prize. Available while stocks last.
Participants can also choose to enter a raffle for the chance to win a National Geographic Telescope and Microscope set courtesy of Starlight, a £100 Turtle Bay restaurant gift card or a bundle of Starlight goodies.
Face painting and glitter tattoos
Saturday 6 May, 11am to 5pm
It’s a day of celebration, so get your glad rags on! Our face painters will be offering a selection of regal designs and all donations go straight to Starlight. Available from 11am to 5pm.
Free soft drink for Privilege Card holders
Saturday 6 May, 1-2pm
Holders of the BID’s free Privilege Card can enjoy a free soft drink at lunchtime*. Just drop by the Hammersmith BID stall, located outside H&M, and show your card to claim. Available while stocks last. Not got a Privilege Card yet? Sign up on our website and download your card to your smartphone to start saving straight away.
The BID’s activities are part of Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s Coronation party like no other. King Street will be closed to traffic, a big screen on Lyric Square will be showing the Coronation live and musical entertainment throughout the day.
