04 Sep Parcels Not Pollution extended until April 2025
Parcels Not Pollution, the zero-emissions delivery service pioneered by Hammersmith BID and now funded by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, has been extended until April 2025. The service helps to reduce traffic and improve air quality in the borough by providing subsidised zero-emissions deliveries for businesses.
The Parcels Not Pollution subsidies have also been improved: businesses can apply for up to £1,500 towards purchasing their own cargo bike or 50% off deliveries made with a cargo bike courier over a two month period (up to £300). Parcels Not Pollution was developed by Hammersmith BID and is now provided throughout the borough. Read more about the scheme here.
H&F Council is working with MP Smarter Travel to help local businesses identify and access delivery services that best suits their needs. Take a look at a recent case study from neighbouring Fulham here.
