28 Nov Christmas Lights Switch On 2023
On Wednesday 22 November, we hosted our annual Christmas lights switch on. From 5.30pm we invited the Hammersmith community to join us in Lyric Square to enjoy performances from the Steel Pan duet while we offered Privilege Card holders free mulled wine.
The Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham, Her Worshipful the Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham, Councillor Patricia Quigley, attended and delivered a speech before leading the countdown. The crowd joined the countdown from 10 before the Mayor pushed the big button to activate the Christmas Tree lights. Cinderella’s Fairy from the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre Panto made the evening even more magical.
To finish off the evening, we invited levy paying businesses to join us at the Hop Poles for some festive nibbles and drinks.
