16 Jan ‘Cuppa with a Copper’
In November 2023, Hammersmith BID launched its Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP), a partnership established in response to a nationwide increase in crime and anti-social behaviour impacting residents, employees, and business owners.
In December 2023, to support the aims of the BCRP, we supported in facilitating ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ at Barclays Bank in Hammersmith where three uniformed officers were present. The more relaxed environment allowed the community to raise their concerns around fraud, anti-social behaviour and shoplifting.
Looking Ahead in 2024…
In 2024, Hammersmith BID and the Metropolitan Police want to continue to host ‘Cuppa with a Copper’. If you are a cafe and wish to provide a space for the community to highlight issues about crime and anti-social behaviour, please reach out via email.
