09 May Win prizes: World Bee Day competition
As part of World Bee Day 2025, we are running a competition to showcase and celebrate Hammersmith’s biodiversity. To win prizes, we want you to share your best photo that captures Hammersmith’s green spaces and wildlife. The prize includes one jar of Hammersmith honey, produced by our very own beehives on the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre’s roof, and a £50 gift voucher for Made in H&F!
How to enter:
- Follow us on Instagram @hammersmithbid
- On Instagram, direct message us a photo of a green oasis found in Hammersmith. Perhaps think of places in Hammersmith where bees would like to live. Extra points for wildlife appearances!
- The competition will open on World Bee Day, Tuesday 20 May, and close on Thursday 29 May.
- The winning photo will be featured on Hammersmith BID’s social media and included in our Privilege Card newsletter.
About the prizes:
One jar of Hammersmith honey
This isn’t any old honey, it’s Hammersmith honey! In partnership with the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, Hammersmith BID’s beekeeper maintains three beehives on the rooftop of the theatre to help reverse the bee population decline. Find out more
£50 gift voucher for Made in H&F
Hammersmith BID is pleased to have reopened the Made in H&F gift shop in Hammersmith Broadway Shopping Centre on Friday 9 May. The gift shop offers a wide variety of items, from accessories to organic skincare and everything in between. Find out more
