08 Jun Free e-scooter skills sessions coming to Hammersmith
We’re pleased to announce the launch of free e-scooter skills sessions open to all. Delivered by award-winning social enterprise, Bikeworks, in partnership with Transport for London (TfL), Voi and Lime, these practical sessions are designed to help riders build confidence, improve safety awareness and understand the rules of riding e-scooters in London.
What’s Included:
Each 40-minute session covers:
- Essential safety checks and helmet use
- How to use the Voi and Lime apps
- Safe riding techniques, including braking, turning and hazard avoidance
- The legal requirements for riding e-scooters in London
All attendees will receive a free helmet and free ride minutes for either Voi or Lime e-scooters.

Additional information
- Participants must be aged 18 or over
- Please download both the Voi and Lime apps before attending
- Training takes place in a controlled off-road environment
- Limited guided on-road rides will also be available
