Santa Claus and his reindeer in Lyric Square

Santa Claus brought festive cheer to hundreds of children who came to Hammersmith on Saturday (December 6) to see him and his furry friends.

As part of HammersmithLondon BID’s Christmas line-up, Lyric Square was full of youngsters keen to get their photo taken with Santa alongside his selection of festive animals including reindeer and a snowy owl.
Stilt walkers and Santa’s trusty elf were on hand to make sure the crowds were entertained as families waited for the chance to step inside the grotto and meet the man himself.
Free photos were taken and sweet treats were handed out to all the good boys and girls.
Even the Mayor of Hammersmith and Fulham, Councillor Mercy Umeh, dropped by to give Santa her Christmas wish list and to meet the animals.
As part of the BID’s festive season, Santa and his elf will be in Lyric Square every Saturday in the run up to Christmas, so head down and have your free photo taken with him between 12noon and 5pm.
Don’t forget the BID’s free present wrapping service. If you buy any items in Hammersmith, show our team in the Lyric Square festive cabin your receipt and they will wrap them for you there and then.
