27 Feb Amazon Lockers arrive in Kings Mall
This week, a brand-new set of Amazon Lockers arrived in Kings Mall – positioned at the entrance of the car park. Hammersmith Town Centre now has two sets of Amazon Lockers, with the first located in the Broadway Shopping Centre.
Amazon Lockers are self-service kiosks where customers can collect or return their Amazon parcels, at a time that is convenient for them.
The new set of lockers help support the Click. Collect. Clean Air behaviour change campaign promoting ‘click & collect’ for online shopping purchases instead of personal deliveries to work.
No one likes missing a delivery at home, but having online shopping sent to work addresses in London adds to traffic congestion and air pollution. It also means you have to carry shopping home on the bus or train!
‘Click & collect’ options including in-store collection, Amazon Lockers, Doddle and Parcelly will help reduce the number of vans on our streets, making Hammersmith a nicer, safer and healthier place to visit, shop and work. It’s convenient, easy and affordable.
