17 Jan Announcing our Hammersmith Retail Heroes winners!
As part of our Hammersmith Retail Heroes over the festive period, we received some wonderful stories of fantastic and thoughtful customer service from our Hammersmith businesses.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit a nominations and congratulations to our winners. Due to the number of brilliant stories from customers, we had to pick two winners… so congratulations are in order for Primark and Pret (Lyric Square)! Well done to all employees at Primark and Pret. Take a look at the comments received below:
Primark:
“For a store that is always so busy, the staff at Primark is exceptionally smiley and nice. Every time I have been there, the cashiers have been more than just polite and I believe they deserve a lot of credit for that considering how many people they have to talk to every day.”
“I bought several stocking fillers in Primark – quite a few were breakable. I was going to ask if they might give me an extra bag – but before I even asked Sashita pulled out brown paper and wrapped every breakable item and one that was too big she bagged. I felt like it I was receiving a 5 star service and I told her so. Well done Primark and Sashita! Gold star!!”
Pret (Lyric Square):
“I didn’t have enough credit on my card today and the dark-haired lady at Pret on Lyric Square was so discreet and gave me a barista flat-white anyway. That is platinum kindness. I wish I felt so sure and as generous. Sometimes I wonder if the staff there know how much of a difference they make to our lives.”
We also extend our congratulations to Sainsburys, Lidl, Costa, Ravenscourt House, Books for Amnesty and Bar + Block, who all received nominations from the public. We know the feedback means a lot to our hardworking retail staff over what was a very busy Christmas period for them.
