Kindred – the ex-private members club turned community space, which serves up cultural and private events, weekday coworking and all-day dining has launched a monthly community dinner, designed to help residents of Hammersmith and Fulham meet each other. The catch? All diners eat for free

They are offering 30 spaces to the Hammersmith BID network to their next dinner on Monday 8 April, from 7pm – 9pm. These monthly dinners see Kindred host 100 strangers on two long tables with some ice-breaker games thrown in to help people get to know each other, and serve a delicious, shared feast. The menu for the night is designed by one of Kindred’s in-house chefs, often reflecting their personal heritage, where the emphasis is placed on the tradition of food sharing. Guests are encouraged to attend solo, to serve one another before they serve themselves, put their phones away, and concentrate on being in the moment.

To enter the ballot, please complete the following form which will take less than a minute:  The deadline for entries is 5pm on Thursday 4 April. Please note that tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, and priority will be given to Hammersmith and Fulham residents who have not attended a dinner before. Only 1 ticket can be requested per person.

There will be an option donate to their partner charity, the Nourish Hub on the night if you choose to do so, but there’s no obligation. As part of the London Good Growth Fund, the Nourish Hub is focused on making better places, empowering people and growing prosperity. Challenging and changing our relationship with food, through experience, education and building close links to the local community.

Kindred was founded by Anna Anderson, who spent her career in social work and is passionate about human connection. With a desire to create a space for the community to connect face-to-face, with no one feeling excluded. The building is a hidden gem on the Hammersmith roundabout, set over three floors, in a lovingly restored Grade II listed building that has been opened up for everyone to enjoy.

Upstairs at Kindred are two floors used for cultural and private events, as well as weekday coworking. Cellar at Kindred, is an all-day dining spot with a seasonal menu sourced from quality producers.

At the heart of the concept, is ‘The Campfire’. A series of homegrown events designed as an antidote to loneliness and disconnection in London and to celebrate and support ideas that can change the world for the better. All the money raised from private events and dining, directly fund ‘The Campfire’.
