The BID teamed up with Hammersmith and Fulham Council to represent the borough at the annual New Year’s Day Parade.
Tasked with promoting cleaner and greener transport in the capital, HammersmithLondon BID and a team of volunteers from the council and the police led a rickshaw, a fleet of bicycles and a furry grass coated Smart car through the streets of London on January 1.
Wearing branded t-shirts promoting smarter transport, the BID volunteers navigated a route that started in Green Park and finished in Westminster. The popular annual event was broadcast to millions across the world.
