On the 16th June 2022, do your bit to protect yourself and the planet!
Ahead of London Climate Action Week (LCAW) which will take place from the 25th of June to the 3rd of July, Clean Air Day will happen on the 16th of June 2022.
Air pollution is responsible for 36,000 deaths annually in the UK and Clean Air Day is the biggest campaign that seeks to prevent this. Clean Air Day adopts a collaborative approach, bringing together communities, businesses, schools, and the health sector to enhance public understanding and demonstrate the possibility of cleaner air in the future. The goal is to motivate people to find ways they can contribute to a reduction in air pollution.
Hammersmith BID is dedicated to reducing air pollution through its Public Realm Vision and holds monthly Zero-Emissions Markets, the first of its kind in London.
