Community Event – Anti-Slavery Day 2022

Community Event – Anti-Slavery Day 2022

Support your local Anti-Slavery Day Community Event on Tuesday 18th October from 6 pm – 8 pm at the Nourish Hub in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham!

For Anti-Slavery Day 2022 there will be a community event taking place at The Nourish Hub where you can join a cooking demonstration led by Migrateful trained chefs and a chance to hear about the work happening in Hammersmith and Fulham to tackle Modern Slavery.

The event will provide an evening of food, culture, and discussion as we share and learn ways of working together to make our communities (particularly migrant, refugee, and asylum seeking communities) more resilient and less vulnerable to exploitation, modern slavery, and human trafficking. Migrateful trained chefs will deliver an interactive cooking demonstration (which attendees will be able to sample). Migrateful is an organisation that empowers and celebrates refugees and vulnerable migrants on their journey to integration by supporting them to run their own cookery classes and demonstrations.

Please register for your FREE ticket via Eventbrite and share with anyone living or working in Hammersmith & Fulham who would be interested.
