15 Nov Cycle and e-scooter events at our Zero-emissions Arts Market
At the BID’s Zero-emissions Arts Market on 28th November, and again on 12th December, we are rolling out more free cycle tours for those wanting to get back on two wheels. These tours are delivered in partnership with Hammersmith & Fulham Council, and delivered by Walk and Cycle London.
There will be three different cycle routes to choose from on each market day.
- Depart at 11.30am – Hammersmith Bridge via Riverside Studios to Bishops Park and back along the river front
- Depart at 1pm – Hammersmith Bridge via Furnivall Gardens and the riverfront to Chiswick High Road and back
- Depart at 2.30pm – Hammersmith Bridge to Barnes Pond and back via the Wetlands Centre and tow path
Each cycle route takes between 30 and 45 mins and will be led by an experienced instructor. For those who wish to join but do not have a bicycle, some spares are available so please request on booking. Anyone attending the market is welcome to attend – but please book your place in advance here.
We are also offering e-scooter training, again centred at the Market. On the 28th November, Lime will be in attendance, offering four 30 minute training sessions between 12 and 2pm. Participants need to be over 18, and have a full or provisional driving licence. Book here.
On 12th December – the e-scooter training will be provided by TIER and Bikeworks, again with four half hour slots running between 12 and 2pm. You can book your place here:
