15 Mar Free Cycle Maintenance & Security Bike Marking
Join us in Lyric Square on Tuesday 9 April between 11am and 3pm where our BID funded police officers will be providing free security bike marking for Hammersmith employees and cyclists. The process only takes about 10mins and your two-wheeled friend will get their own permanent barcode that will be uploaded with your personal details onto the BikeRegister police national database. Registration comes with free lifetime membership and is proven to reduce bike theft by up to 75%. To improve your chances of a speedy recovery in the event of a loss – all you have to do is inform the police, and update your online account status to ‘stolen’.
Once this is done why not follow up with a free Dr Bike maintenance session where a qualified mechanic will check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. By the end; your bike will feel loved and well cared for. With anything that can’t be fixed on site, advice will be given on exactly what needs doing and a rough guide to what it should cost at a bike shop.
