04 Apr Expansion of London’s cycle network
London’s cycle network has expanded its cycle network by 5.5 km. Three new Cycleways have been implemented across Islington, Camden, the City of London, Westminster, and Hammersmith & Fulham. Cycleway 49 is a 4 km route between Chiswick, Acton Central, and North Acton and connects to Cycleway 9 along King Street.
TfL intends to build 10 new Cycleways and Cycleway links by the end of 2023. The goal is for links for communities and businesses to be safer, greener, and more efficient.
