Free Guided Walks: Summer Schedule

Our knowledgeable blue badge guides have put together a fantastic new schedule for this upcoming Summer season.

Our free guided walks Summer schedule began on May 2, with a walk commemorating the VE Day 70 anniversary and discovering the impact of World War II in the local area.

Other walks will explore the history of Ravenscourt Park and Olympia; Nazareth House and why Hammersmith was known as ‘Pope’s Corner’ in the 1800’s; the Great Chiswick River Swim and former resident Edward ‘Ned’ Burne-Jones, a Victorian artist who was also good friends with William Morris.

Guided Walks are free for Privilege Card holders and always start at 11am and finish in Lyric Square by 12noon. There will often be refreshments provided at one of the local pubs or cafes after a walk.
