Free tickets to Kindred Uncovered Live Music Night

Kindred – the ex-private members club turned community space, which serves up cultural and private events, weekday coworking and all-day dining in Hammersmith – has launched the Kindred Uncovered Residency, a women-only programme designed to support rising artists and musicians living in Greater London.

The programme will support and champion five budding artists across a 12-month period who will receive free mentoring throughout the year from leading figures in the UK music industry including head of music at Dice Ife Awosika, Kiss FM producer Channette Carleo, VeVo artist relations manager Jodeci Chin and many more.

Central to this is their new bi-monthly music night Kindred Uncovered, a live performance night headlined by one of the 5 residents. The first of the gigs sees Hammersmith & Fulham local Kristie Killick taking to the stage on Thursday 23 May.

Spilling her truths with soulful, sultry tones and witty word-play, Kristie shares her experience of love, loss and life. “Music has always helped me process the wickedness of life. Life can be cruel but what a beautiful twist that I can make that into a piece of art. It’s the best therapy I’ve ever had”.

The R&B artist saw her first single Sunflowers receive radio play from BBC 1XTRA introducing, BBC London with Claira Hermet and BBC introducing Berkshire. Having also been chosen for the project ‘community studio’ courtesy of SNS X Nike as well as being support by Help Musicians, Kristie is set for an exciting journey ahead.
