20 May Hammersmith Summer Festival is back for 2022!
Hammersmith BID is thrilled to announce the return of our award-winning Summer Festival, bringing an electric mix of free live performances, entertainment and sport on the big screen to Hammersmith.
Summer celebrations kick off with our Jubilee Zero-Emissions Market on Friday 3 June in Lyric Square. Local artists and makers will be selling their wares and our Queen tribute act, Princes of the Universe, will be recreating the band’s famous Live Aid set in two performances at 2pm and 5pm. Also on the Jubilee weekend, join our Guided Walk for Privilege Card holders on Saturday 5 June. Rock Royalty Hammersmith will show you where Queen members lived and practised, where Roxy Music played an early gig and much more. Find out more and register here.
Our big screen will be back in Lyric Square to bring you all the action from Wimbledon (27 June to 10 July), ensuring you won’t miss a single shot from the comfort of our deckchairs.
Movie lovers can enjoy our Film Nights on 13, 15, 20 and 22 July. Grab some food from a nearby eatery and settle in for one of our outdoor screenings. More details soon…
Back by popular demand, our Picnic in the Square afternoons (4-6, 11-13, 18-20 July, 12pm-3pm) are a chance to soak up the atmosphere while you eat lunch at a picnic table or deckchair in Lyric Square.
Lunchtime recitals in St Pauls are back too, featuring some wonderful young artists performing opera, folk and much more, while Fitness in the Square will be offering outdoor wellbeing and movement sessions to get your heart rate up.
