15 Jun Hammersmith Summer Street Fest – June 2024
We marked the start of Pride Month in June by taking part in Hammersmith’s Summer Street Fest. Organised by H&F Council, over 150 food, drinks and gift stalls filled King Street and at Hammersmith BID’s stall we hosted several pride-themed activities in partnership with local businesses and other organizations.
Hammersmith BID – June Guided Walk
In celebration of Pride Month, 26 people took part in our June Guided Walk, A Cavalcade of Queer. We uncovered some of the LGBTQ+ histories of Hammersmith as told through the lives and experiences of artists, writers, campaigners, athletes and medics.

Hammersmith BID X A+E Networks
A big thank you to enthusiastic volunteers from A+E Networks who helped distribute flyers for the Self-guided Pride Walk. The walk allows you to explore the history of Pride, local to Hammersmith. All 150 copies were given out on the day, but you can take part anytime by downloading a digital copy here.
Hammersmith BID X Livat
In partnership with Livat, we offered craft activities to raise money for West London Queer Project, a local non-profit driven by the desire to connect, support and give a voice to local LGBTQ+ people. We sold over 40 colourful flower crowns and over 150 people took part in our flower-making workshop. People were invited to write their hopes and dreams in the centre of their flowers and add it to our pride-themed flower wall to celebrate diversity, acceptance and unity.
