Hammersmith Zero Emissions Makers Market continues at Livat Hammersmith
Hammersmith’s Zero-Emissions market is running an extended pop-up in the town centre, 11 am – 5 pm daily, showcasing the work of artists and independent businesses based in Hammersmith and Fulham. Admission is free.
The market is in Livat, King Street, W6 9HW (former WHSmith unit at Kings Mall) until Thursday 14 April.
The pop-up market reaffirms the BID’s commitment to supporting local small businesses, delivering innovative experiences to encourage footfall and creating a sustainable, low-emissions town centre.
All stalls and equipment for the market are delivered by zero-emissions transportation, and stallholders are supported by Parcels not Pollution, Hammersmith’s zero-emissions delivery service. In addition, shoppers are encouraged to travel to the market sustainably, on foot, or by bicycle, e-scooter, or public transport, and can use the Parcels, not Pollution service, to deliver goods.
The pop-up market features original artwork and merchandise including gifts, home accessories, clothes, jewellery, and crafts from traders including Juliette Smeed Jewellery, Red Root Remedies, Sabani Linens, Ty Photography, Natalia Bobrova Gallery, Bledsoe Bags and Milton Arts. Alongside the stalls, a programme of entertainment and workshops will run throughout the month.

FEEDBACK…
I really enjoyed trading with Hammersmith at Livat and met some lovely people!
The courier e-cargobike collection/drop-off service was amazing!Elena Branch – Elena Drew This
I really welcome this affordable opportunity to show and share my work locally and to meet others.
It means a lot because I’m a very small business and I make everything by hand. I value meeting local residents and actual and potential customers in person – to get feedback, to explain how I work and what my brand is about, to discuss what kinds of bags and fabrics people like. I love hearing people’s stories. I’m not keen on the remoteness of online shopping. It helps to make some sales and to get my business better known locally. It also helps to meet other local makers.

Hammersmith BID has made a big difference for us, as it provides exposure and an opportunity to sell our art.
Hammersmith BID has really been a refreshing experience. We also had a good response from local residents who have expressed interest in seeing something different on the high street and not mass -produced items.
