Happy Customers Review Parcels Not Pollution

Parcels Not Pollution, the new zero-emission delivery service in Hammersmith, has seen a great response in its first 6 weeks of operation.

Boasting 25 companies already signed up to the scheme, Parcels Not Pollution has succeeded in removing 57 delivery vehicles from the roads in Hammersmith town centre. This reduction in vehicles will reduce traffic, ease congestion and improve air quality in the local area, and the more businesses that sign up, the more of an impact the project will have on the area.

The businesses that have signed up so far include the Lyric theatre and National Geographic, who have praised the Parcels Not Pollution service:

Chrissy Angus, Head of Administration at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre

“As a busy theatre in the heart of Hammersmith, we’re often receiving lots of deliveries – whether for our productions, our offices or our Bar & Grill. We are also a theatre that is continually looking at ways to work more sustainably so the new zero-emission freight hub, Parcels Not Pollution, is ideal. It’s an easy and hassle free way to receive your deliveries, as you ordinarily would, whilst also reducing traffic, easing congestion and improving air quality in Hammersmith.”

Carolyn Payne, Commissioning Editor at National Geographic

“I think that it’s a great idea and hence why I jumped on using it. Everything worked like clockwork for me and my parcels arrived just as you said they would.”
