10 Sep The Lyric’s Jessica Hepburn successfully swims the Channel

The outgoing Executive Director of the Lyric Hammersmith, Jessica Hepburn, has successfully swum the English Channel.
Battling a grueling tide and over-friendly jellyfish, Ms Hepburn completed the mammoth 22 mile swim in a staggering 17 hours and 44 minutes.
She undertook this challenge to raise money for Infertility Network UK and for Lyric. The theatre is a registered charity that does a huge amount of work with young people in the local community, particularly those in care.
