02 Sep Litter picking event in Hammersmith
On Friday 10th September, volunteers from 245 Hammersmith Road are participating in a Litter Pick event around Hammersmith town centre. This is part of the Keep Britain Tidy #LitterHeroes campaign.
The group will be visiting several sites throughout the morning, including the Hammersmith Flyover, Lyric Square, the parklets at Hammersmith Grove, and St Paul’s Green, for a morning of plant watering, litter clearing, and a general tidy up!
The Keep Britain Tidy campaign aims to inspire people to eliminate litter now, and for future generations, and to encourage people to start taking care of and being proud of their public spaces.
The BID’s Welcome Back campaign this autumn is encouraging more visitors and workers to return to Hammersmith, and to enjoy the outdoor public spaces that Hammersmith has to offer. We endorse all efforts to keep our public realm clean, tidy, and welcoming, so that it is utilised by as many people as possible.
