New SafetyNet radio user

The BID is pleased to welcome Hammersmith’s Rymans branch into its SafetyNet radio network.

The SafetyNet network provides a fast time link between participating shops, pubs and corporate premises, directly to the LBHF CCTV network and the Metropolitan Police. This ensures that our businesses are fully supported in the event of any crime and antisocial related issues.

Gordon Brockie, Operations Manager, said: “SafetyNet and our BID funded CCTV operator plays a pivotal role in crime reduction across the town centre and provides our business community and visitors to the area with an enhanced level of safety and security. The radio network also delivers a critical line of communication in the event of any major emergency, as demonstrated during the recent floods to Hammersmith town centre. We are always happy to welcome new businesses onto the network, and support them with training and advice from day one.”

BID Businesses can contact Gordon Brockie if they require any free training, or would like to find out more about the SafetyNet scheme.
