This year we’ll be showing the action from the Paris Olympics on our Big Screen in Lyric Square as part of our Summer Festival. Watch your favourite athletes compete or discover your new sporting obsession!
There’s a couple of days of Rugby 7s action, before the Opening Ceremony fully kicks off proceedings on Friday 26 July. Join us to watch what is sure to be a stunning ceremony live from Paris, from 5:45pm to 10pm. Following that, there’ll be sporting action on throughout the day for the next two weeks and our deckchairs will be out Monday to Wednesday and on the weekends for you to enjoy it.
It’s a packed schedule and our screen will be showing the BBC stream daily to catch as much of the Team GB action as possible! If there’s a choice of events, our stewards will hold a vote on the square to decide.
