The BID is hosting a borough wide day of peace event on Monday, September 21 on Lyric Square.
Partnering with the Metropolitan Police and Hammersmith and Fulham Council, the event is aimed to promote peace within the borough and will be attended by the Mayor, Councillor Mercy Umeh as well as representatives from various faith groups.
Beginning at 3.30pm, students from the borough’s schools will be asked to sign a Book of Peace and light a candle with the Mayor.
Refreshments will be provided and there will be performances from local groups.
