20 Dec Raising over £700 for local charities through our Wrapping Station
We’re thrilled to share that our Christmas Charity Wrapping Station helped to raise £768.27 during December thanks to the generosity of local Hammersmith shoppers in Livat Hammersmith.
Our elves wrapped a total of 180 presents over six days and we were joined by volunteers from Hammersmith-based CAA, as well as from our local charities: Starlight, Barons Court Project and West London Welcome.
Alongside the Wrapping Station we also ran a festive version of our popular clothes swaps. Our Christmas Jumper Swap saw local residents and workers come and swap last year’s Christmas jumper for a new-to-them item, helping to reduce textile waste and a cost-effective way of jazzing up your festive outfits!
Thanks to everyone who swapped a jumper, dropped of your Christmas gifts for wrapping, donated to our brilliant charities and to our volunteers to help keen the stall buzzing with energy.
