Resurfacing work on Cycleway 9 on 12 and 13 July

While the Cycleway 9 is now open for use around Hammersmith town centre, final resurfacing work will be taking place at the Hammersmith Gyratory section over two nights: 12 and 13 July.

To minimise disruption, the following closures will be taking place at night when traffic volumes are lower:

– From 22:00 on 12 July to 05:00 on 13 July, King Street will be closed to
traffic between Queen Caroline Street and Leamore Street
– From 22:00 on 13 July to 05:00 on 14 July , there will be no eastbound
access onto Hammersmith Road. Access to Butterwick will be maintained. The one-way system on Bute Gardens will be suspended, and access can be gained via Rowan Road.

The following bus routes will be on diversion:
– Tuesday 12 July: 110, 267, H91, N9, N11, 218, 306 & N266
– Wednesday 13 July: 9, 23, 27, 72, 110, 190, 218, 220, 283, 295, 306, 533, H91, N9, N11, N27, N72, N266.

TfL recommends planning any journeys you need to take ahead of time and allowing more time, or seek alternative routes. Pavements and crossing will remain open wherever possible.
