10 Jun Retail Trust: training opportunities for retail workers
The Retail Trust is putting on a series of morning training sessions from Tuesday 24 to Wednesday 26 June. These sessions, aimed at retail workers, will examine the scale and motivators of abuse in the sector; how to deal with it in the moment; and how to recover following an incident.
The sessions will then be available on-demand until 30 June 2025. The full agenda can be seen below:

Recovering after a challenging situation is just as crucial for your wellbeing as handling it in the moment. In this final section, we’ll offer more tips on what to do when faced with these challenges and how to bounce back afterwards.
Hammersmith BID aims to support its levy paying businesses in the retail sector in a number of ways including tailored business visits by a BID-funded member of Safer Business Network staff; providing the Alert! reporting platform; hosting ShopWatch; and liaising on businesses’ behalf with the Hammersmith Broadway Police Safer Neighbourhoods Team. We also promote training such as the Retail Trust online events.
