08 Apr Row & Raise – with special guest James Cracknell OBE!
The Broadway Centre is hosting a six-hour non-stop rowing challenge on Thursday 10 April, from 10am to 4pm, to raise money for the Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham’s Mayoral Charity Fund.
The rules are simple – two rowing machines and a fresh rower every 10 minutes. Plus, James Cracknell OBE, double Olympic gold medallist and endurance athlete, will be there to cheer you on!
If you don’t fancy rowing, get involved in other games that will be taking place throughout the day. There will also be raffles and competitions taking place where you can win a month’s FREE David Lloyd gym membership.
The Mayoral Charity Fund supports four charities, chosen by the Mayor of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, Councillor Patricia Quigley. They are: Action on Disability, Fulham Reach Boat Club, Solidarity Sports and H&F foodbank.
Councillor Patricia Quigley said:
“Join us on the day to raise money for charities that support those most in need here in our borough. I am really grateful for any support shown for the event and looking forward to seeing our community come together for such a great cause.”
