13 May St. Paul's Move for Change
St. Paul’s Hammersmith have organised a sponsored walk/cycle, to raise money for the charity Crosslight, this Saturday, 16 May.
Not long to go now until Saturday’s sponsored walk/cycle, and St. Paul’s have a fun day planned for all! Everyone is in shape and getting ready.
The sponsored walk/cycle participants start from The St Paul’s Centre at 1:00pm. Then waiting at the finish there will be a fabulous cream tea for all, from 3pm. There will also be a mini car rally competition hosted by Ian Hill, for all children (and grown up kids too!) in the Newbiggin Theatre, with a prize for EVERY participant. Finally, to top off the day, there are some wonderful prizes to be won in the raffle, to be drawn at 4:30pm.
When: Saturday 16th May 1:00PM – 5:00PM
What: Starting from St Paul’s to walk 10km along the river to Chiswick Bridge and back /cycling 40km, up to and looping Richmond park 3 times returning to St Paul’s.
Why: To help raise money for St Paul’s Money Advice Centre, the Hammersmith branch of Crosslight, a charity which helps anyone suffering under the burden of debt. Crosslight offers completely free advice and practical assistance to people in need, regardless of background or circumstance. Its volunteers are passionate about seeing lives restored, and people released from the worry that comes from being in debt.
On the day: Invite friends to the finish line to join in the refreshment tea from 3:00 – 5:00pm.
Raffle tickets are also being sold and prizes will be drawn on the day.
