The Big Plastic Count returns

The Big Plastic Count returns

In support of Circular Economy Week 2023 Hammersmith BID hosted a workshop with Everyday Plastic. Together, we sought to empower people on both an individual and organisational level to understand how best to tackle the “Plastic Problem” in our society.

To further demonstrate the need to reduce plastic production, Everyday Plastic and Greenpeace are running The Big Plastic Count, from Monday 11 March 2024 to Sunday 17 March 2024.

Individuals from businesses, schools and households are being asked to count the amount of plastic they throw away during the week of The Big Plastic Count. The evidence collected will be used to demonstrate to politicians, producers and supermarkets the need to phase out plastic production.

You can sign up here to join Hammersmith BID and thousands of others form part of the step toward a cleaner and greener future.
