Central to this is their new bi-monthly music night Kindred Uncovered, a live performance night headlined by one of their 5 residents. The headliner for September is Lucy DK, who seeks beauty in the search for healing. With roots from Leicester to Zimbabwe, she’s evolved from a bedroom singer-songwriter into a powerhouse of radically hot pop. Her smart-multilayered sound combines acoustic, anecdotal elegance with sparkling electronic beats and synths, making songs filled with social commentary feel irresistibly uplifting.
