Our latest Women’s Safety Forum offered a fantastic discussion surrounding ‘Safety for women in business – what are employers missing?’.
Joined in conversation with Deeba Syed and Laura Durrant, we gained insight into their expertise covering emerging issues related to women’s safety in business.
We heard how evidence has shown that gender balance in the workplace results in more profitability, the importance of regularly reviewing your business’s anti-harassment and women’s safety policies, and how the pandemic has impacted women’s safety at work, for example through lone or home working. We also went through several interactive case studies to explore the issues that businesses face.
Hammersmith BID is working towards a safer environment for women and girls in Hammersmith and is collaborating with businesses and stakeholders to make this happen.
