Safer Business Network is working with the GLA, MOPAC, City of London Police, and Metropolitan Police Service to help people enjoy safer nights out. They are holding a series of free WAVE training events for ALL staff. The next training session will be on Thursday 6th April, 10.30 am – 12.30 pm.
WAVE Training
WAVE (Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement) Training: WAVE Training will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to identify and tackle vulnerability and make appropriate interventions.
Tackling Spiking: The training will also provide you with information about the most common types of spiking and 3 steps you should take when tackling spiking:

Ask for Angela: Finally, the training will provide detailed information about Ask for Angela, the customer-facing campaign allowing vulnerable people to receive discreet support from venue staff by asking for ‘Angela’.
