29 Aug Hammersmith BID returns to the Sook Space with a Community Clothes Swap and Zero-Emissions Arts Market!
Hammersmith BID is thrilled to be taking over the Sook Space in Livat for two sustainable events throughout the month of September.
September Community Clothing Swap
Thursday 14 – Friday 15 September, 11am – 5pm
Our June Community Clothing Swap was a success, with 112kg of clothing saved from landfill, so we’re hosting another in partnership with Livat, where you can give your pre-loved clothes a new lease of life and discover new clothes for yourself.
To participate, visitors are required to bring up to six items to donate, which they can swap for up to six items. Traid and Royal Trinity Hospice charity shops will receive surplus clothing from this event.
Zero-Emissions Arts Market
Monday 25 – Tuesday 26 September, 12pm – 7pm
Local Hammersmith & Fulham traders will occupy the Sook Space selling creative arts and crafts from handmade clothing to jewellery and accessories at affordable prices! Annalisa Bravetti will be trading retro jewellery, Natalia Bobrova will be showcasing impressionistic paintings, IMMY London will be selling handmade clothes, Ty Hannaford will be showcasing nature photographs, Lauranne Heres will be selling fabric products and Sew Iconic will be bringing all selling handmade scrunchies and more accessory goods.
