06 Nov Maggie’s hosting free business workshop on cancer in the workplace
Maggie’s Cancer Centre is inviting businesses to attend a special workshop on December 2 to discuss how best to approach cancer in the workplace.
It is predicated that by 2030 there will be almost one million people with cancer in the UK workforce so Maggie’s is hosting this free workshop at its centre in Fulham Palace Road to give HR professionals advice on employee support. Running from 9am – 11am the session will help you to:
• understand the emotional, physical and psychological needs of employees with cancer
• approach these situations with knowledge, empathy and understanding by providing you with insights and management strategies
• create the right framework to manage employees with cancer
