10 Nov Natwest hosts Age UK charity collection
Natwest helped support local charity Age UK this month by hosting a special collection in its King Street branch.
The charity, which helps to combat loneliness among the elderly residents of Hammersmith and Fulham by providing essential services such as befriending, was invited into the store on Friday, November 6 to man an information stand and hold a collection.
As part of the BID’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, the branch approached HammersmithLondon to find out more about local charities that they could support. After understanding their specific CSR criteria, the BID suggested Age UK set about putting the two in touch.
HammersmithLondon is dedicated to helping businesses engage with the community by offering a service which enables them to deliver on their Corporate Social Responsibility agendas.
Developing a CSR agenda is a great way for businesses to make a positive impact in their local area while also helping to benefit the company. The main goals of the BID’s programme are to help businesses demonstrate their commitment to the community, enhance their reputations, develop relationships and to boost staff morale and welfare.
