14 Dec Work underway on new Talgarth Road Green Corridor

Work has begun on a redevelopment scheme which will transform Talgarth Road from a neglected, run-down area into a flourishing green corridor.
Situated next to the Hammersmith Flyover the project will see the area improved as a new cycle lane, additional planting, new trees, a new gully system and air quality monitoring stations are being installed.
These elements will not only brighten up the area but will help to attenuate rain water, reduce carbon and attract new wildlife and visitors.
The green corridor is a multi-partnership project with the BID, Hammersmith and Fulham Council, the Mayor’s office and Transport for London all working together to bring this part of Hammersmith to life.
