04 Nov Support the elderly by sponsoring Age UK Christmas party
Each December Age UK help the elderly residents of Hammersmith and Fulham combat loneliness by organising a Christmas party.
This year the local branch of the charity is seeking a corporate sponsor to help fund a turkey lunch on Thursday, December 17 for 60-70 guests at the Age UK centre in Greyhound Road, Hammersmith. The annual Christmas party is a highlight for many at what can often be a difficult time of year so is an important date in the calendar.
Volunteers will also be needed on the day to help set-up, serve lunch and talk to guests. Supporting Age UK H&F this Christmas will cost around £450 and this will pay for the lunch and crackers for each guest.
